Welcome to Mesquite Hollow’s Livestock & Pet Sitting Service. My husband Dan and I were both born and raised in Navarro County and our background in animal care goes back many years. We have been married 23 years with three beautiful children and seven wonderful grandchildren. We are currently breeders of Cavalier King Charles Spaniels and Show Papillons. Our children were in FAA for many years and have continued to raise and show cattle with their families. We raised and bred quarter horses for many years as well.
We are very conscious of animals’ wellbeing and have watchful eyes for illness. In our years of raising dogs and show animals we have worked closely with vets and have learned much about animals and their needs. We are able to handle many of our own emergencies ourselves. We have often wondered ourselves what to do with our pets so we could go and have a real vacation or just a weekend free. Like us, many pet owners today would rather their “babies” stay at home in a comfortable environment instead of boarding them at veterinary clinics or boarding facilities while they are away on business, vacations, holidays or just off for a weekend get-a-way.
We provide pet services and light household duties you may need done to keep your worries to a minimum. Below we’ve included a small list of services we provide so you can rest assured your animals are safe and well-cared for in your home while you are away. We have many references and our rates are reasonable. Currently, we serve the Navarro, Eastern Hill and Southern Ellis Counties. We believe in honest and ethical aspect of our lives.
